So does anyone else have one of these joysticks and has experienced similar issues, or is there anyone can tell me what I need to change to get the subtle effects I would like. I would like to just feel medium stiff control of the car and a hint of kerbs and bumps but nothing major.Īnd before anyone says it yes I am aware I should get a wheel but I have what I have at the moment, a wheel is possible in the future - maybe. But I have found out that increasing the main tire force setting increases the turning stiffness but nothing else and some of the other settings seems to affect the amount of shaking I get when starting off (I dont like that). I have tried to read a few articles but dont understand what they are going on about. The FF settings in this game are extremely complex and I have no idea what any of them do. It worked really well in F1 Challenge 99-02 all those years ago, and works well is flight sims etc but its just this game that it seems to not feel anything. I was wondering what I need to do to feel kerbs and road bumps and how to lessen the turning stiffness at the same time? Driver Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. I am using the Sidewinder Wheel as my basis for the FF setup in pCars (seems to work). I am also experiencing a fair bit of shake when the car first starts off but that seems to go once I reach reasonable speed. I have MS Sidewinder 2 joystick which has great force feedback effects usually but I dont feel anything in this game, other than control stiffness which makes straight line control good but it makes turns heavy going.
